ASTRAL.2 "TOUSHI" Report
by By Shiroi Youso

Well what a show, our 3rd one and it was off the charts. With four matches won by submission, 5 by decisions and one by TKO. A great ten matches. Well let's get into it.

Match 10: We saw the debut of Takumi Gunma (8-1-0) and Celestino Caballero (2-2-0). The match started out with a nice take down by Gunma, both fighters tried to get the upper hand till the ref had to step in and bring them back up. As soon as they were standing they were back again to the ground. These guys love the floor. Going on wrelsting a sub attempt was taken in by Gunma, an Americana. But Caballero manged to get free with it. We saw the starting of Round 2 we again an next Takedown with Gunma doing a nice counter to be in control. Caballero not wasting any time going right for the arm triangle, that did not work and he went in for the kimura, sadly for him tho he was not full ready for this and lost advantage. They got up and Gunman tries a combo but that i think he needs to go back to the gym and practice. But what he lack in combo he made up he dropped a solid one to the head, he went for the upper cut oh noes it missed, he went for the combo and it lands. What a come back from behind. Caballero continue with his devastating punches , it looks like this match is going to be wrapped up. Gunma comes back again with a take down and a quick submission, the rest of the match we found them on the ground with this going to a decision and Takumi Gunma wins it.

Match 9: Our welterweight bout between Shingo Takeda (8-7-0) and Junji Ito (0-0-0) was up and this was promising to be a great one. With two failed take downs, Takeda got the clinch in and, take down, Ito keeping Takeda on a tight leash preventing him from doing much, getting in to the right position Takeda lands some solid blows cutting Junji, but not letting that stop him, he tries to counter but with Takeda with the clinch then the take down then the sub attempt it looks like it is all wrapped out here folks, he is trying his best to do the armbar but it is not coming, until yes it did it worked out Takeda has the armbar locked in, and soon as it is locked in Junji starts to tap this match up is over, in just 2 rounds of action.

Match 8: We saw Hiroki Nakamura (0-1) and Masa Sakuruza (0-0), going head to head, with Sakuruza starting of with a strong take downs, following up with that he started to pound Nakamura with some strong ground and pound, not giving him any chances to recover Sakuruza continued to pound him to. Nakamura tried to kick Sakuruza off but Sakuruza continued to pound on but Naka finally started to defend him self against them. Blocking all he want did nothing as Sakuruza continued with his ground and pound, this match is about wrapped up here. Going in to round 2, we saw Naka trying to come back into this brutal fight but Sakuruza countered and got Naka back to the ground where he landed some brutal punches towards his buddy, not even giving Naka a time to recorver Sakur kept on pounding violently i thought the ref would have stopped the match but he kept it going on. What a punishment. It was this, that decided the match, that Sakuruza will be taking this one home. Masa Sakuruza wins by unanimous decision!

Match 7: The seventh match of the night saw light heavyweight bout between Inuyasha Kagome (1-0) and Johnny Izakawa (3-3). The match started out with each fighter trying to get the clinch on each other with only Kagome getting the first clinch of the match, Kagome tries to land some knees to the head but gave Johnny too much time, to recover and johnny manged to block some of them out. Johnny going in for the the clinch in round 2 but foiled as he takes an elbow to the temple, still in the clinch Kagome lands some violent elbows with all that beating Johnny is not letting go of his clinch and finally the clinch is broken and Kagome takes the time to get his clinch in place and once he got it in it was restless attacks on all quaters of Johnny's body, landing some killer punches and elbows, this match seems all wrapped up as we enter round 3 Kagome clinching to Johnny and tires to lands some knees and elbows on Johnny but they all missed i think these guys are tired now, the pace is slowed down to a drag, only a few seconds are left and the fighters tried to land in some last minute points, the fight is called and Inuyasha Kagome wins by unanimous decision!

Match 6: The 6th match of the night saw middleweight bout between Kostas Mavrouleas (2-2) and Tiagong Akyat (1-1). The match started out with Akyat getting a nice takedown following up with a quick sub attempt, not being able to get it fully in he starts on the ground and pound from a side mount, Not wanting to waste any time he goes in again for the Submission, Mavroule tries his best to get out but Akyat is too good for him and forces him self deeper than he wanted to be and the Americana is locked in and Mavrouleas starts to tap the match is over in a nice and easy quick one round fight.

Match 5: The fifth match started out with Megatons Kazuki Ito(0-2)and Blazevic (1-2), not wanting to waste any time Ito goes in for a take down but simply fails, Blazevic counter with a head kick that miss it's mark but also he goes in for a 3 punch combo and all 3 hit lands spelling disaster for Ito, Ito goes in for a clinch but is quickly broken by Blazevic. Before the round comes to an end Ito goes for a take down he gets it and tries an kimura but it don't last long he decides to go for a ground and pound all of his hits are blocked by blaze. We saw the starting of round 2 with Ito trying some quick take downs and Blaze being a little sloppy, trying his clinch Ito takes a good knee shot Blaze tries it again but his foiled my Ito, It goes in trying to land some combination's but it's not working out for him, he needs to go home and practice. Round 3 starts of with a clinch by Ito trying to get Blaze into a pull guard but Blaze is more stubborn than a donkey. Not giving Ito his pleasure of getting him in, Balze tries to break the clinch and he does it breaking the clinch Ito goes in for a take down but misses, Ito tries again and get's a take down, this fight stays on the ground on till match is over with Kazuki Ito wins by unanimous decision!. I don't see how they got to that one.

Match 4: The fourth match I could say was a short one, between Akira Kambei (0-0) and Robert Frankera (0-0). This was a one sided match. The match started out with a Clinch by Kambei not long after that he turns this clinch into a take down. Keeping Robert in check he goes in for the armbar and not long after that the match is called With Akira being the winner.

Match 3: The third match kicked of was we see welterweight bout between Fuji Yamasoto (0-0) and Maia Bee (0-0), making there debuts they surely satisfied the crowd with Yamasoto starting out with a strong kick but Bee blocked it easily Trying to get his take downs in Bee always foiling him not giving him the take down he wanted and bam, he gets the take down. This fight is now on the ground. While on the ground Yamasoto tries some sub attempts but they don't go so well, he not geting a quick victory. Round 2 kicks off with a blazing kick by Bee hitting nicely on Yamasoto, Yamasoto tries to counter with a take down but he fails, this look bad Bee goes all out as he keeps the kicks and punches coming as he strikes Yamasoto with a solid kick, Bee follows up with a strong kick that sends Yamasoto flying, This match looks like it is over, Bee don't stop he continues with a strong rib kick and a he finishes the already weakened Yamasoto with a strong head kick this match is over. The best match I've seen so far, should have been main Event.

Match 2: The second match begins with lightweight Akira Okada (0-0)and Thomas Dvargledare (4-1). The match goes right to the ground as it starts, Okada get's the take down, Dvargledare tries to get the sweep but he tried a little too early, But wait what happen Dvargledare turned this into a Guillotine Okeda is in too deep, damn man stay still but he fell for it the Guillotine is locked in and Okeda taps giving Thomas the victory.

Match 1: The opening fight of the night was a long, match up between Jong Man Kim (0-0) and Mizuno Michimochi (0-0) The fight started out with Michi in for the take down, Michi tries a sub but kim pulls out of it, the ref stands them up but as the stood up the went back down to the ground, this is going to be a grounded fight. Michi tires a next sub. but it again his plans are foiled, round 2 goes in with Kim with the take down, trying his best to take control of this fight but Michi is keeping Kim a little too busy, Michi throws one but it missed oh, Kim jumps in for the take down and he gets it, Kim is dominating but not as much action. Michi breaks out of the take down, but as he get's up Kim goes in once more with a take down with a 1/2 guard. Times runs and the score card said Jong Man Kim wins by unanimous decision!
